Why Meraxis Labs exists
Most interesting problems never get a real shot. They show up in conversations, sit in notes, and fade when risk, time, or habit get in the way. Meraxis Labs exists to close that gap with small, deliberate products instead of decks and delay.
The lab looks for concrete problems, builds just enough to learn, and decides from evidence. Some products go live. Some stay on the board until the signal is clear. Some get archived on purpose. Each one is meant to teach something useful.
The philosophy
The best way to understand a problem is to put a working solution in front of real people — not a pitch about a solution, and not a forecast of one.
Faster prototyping has shifted the hard question from “can we build it?” to “should we build it?” Meraxis Labs runs several products at once across different domains because the craft of validation transfers: learning how to kill a weak idea quickly makes the next idea sharper.
How products move
Every product starts with a clear idea of what “enough signal” looks like. If that threshold is not met, the product is archived, the learning is kept, and attention moves on. Archiving is not a failure — it is honest validation. A board that never archives is not taking real risk; a board that archives everything is not learning.
Planned means the problem is on the board and has not been validated yet. Live means there is a product people can use today — currently TagBack and Schedule FA Generator.
The lab today
TagBack is the first live outcome: QR lost & found, privately — finders can reach you without seeing your personal contact details. Schedule FA Generator is in founding beta: US broker statements in, a traceable Schedule FA CSV out. The rest of the board is still planned and will move only when the signal justifies it.
